this modern world - i think i actually first heard about ralph nader through tom tomorrow's political cartoon. he has been putting out this comic since 1990, i believe, and he has the entire history archived on his site. apparently he and max cannon are friends. that just seems right to me.

there are a lot of laws that don't make sense to me; like why you can vote and fight for your country and own a gun before you are legally able to drink. but there are some laws that really defy explanation.
there are a lot of sites out there, but in my opinion, the best one is dumblaws.com, which is laid out nicely and is easy to follow, with an explanation of some of the more obscure laws. but they all have different content, so here are a couple more.
lawguru.com has its own section of strange and weird laws, and is broken up into american and international laws.
strangelaws.com was made famous in sam and twitch (off the top of my head i think it was #13, but i may be wrong) and is a very comprehensive but visually irritating site.
laughmyassoff.com has a section of strange laws, but it mostly just a joke page.
